Day 45
We did our first 20 miler today. Felt amazing after the best 0 of my life. All day bed and hydration and add in new shoes that are big enough, and you’re bound to have a good day. Sleep in tomorrow sounds nice. I am worried about tendinitis and of course Indys nail which seems to not change, and as long as the porcupines leave us alone, we might be ok the next 4 days.
I put out a request for people to send me bracelets to remind me of home. It makes me sad to think I won’t get any, and also sad how few people came to say goodbye. I also am still trying to be on my own out here, but they just keep reappearing. Well, honestly can’t complain too much. Hit 500 miles today. Seems weird honestly. It’s hard to put it into perspective. I am eager to get comfortable out here, I can feel it slowly happening.
