Shelter camping around 4K freezing
After a lovely nights rest at Boots Off Hostel back in the woods. We pulled our first 24 miles yesterday, and man did I feel it. Really hard day, these ups and gowns downs are really wearing me down. To be only 450 miles away and yet it seems almost impossible. Trying to deal with the cold, the endless and growing mountains, along with pressure deadlines for the holidays… daunting. I did get some super magic today though, the dried apples I’ve been dreaming of! Hoping Indys scent keeps critters away tonight. Just me and Grits, who loves his shelters…. I am not a fan… more hostels for me! And I’m still feeling nauseous everyday. Erwin for a sleeping bag liner and clinic. Goodnight.
