Seriously what am I doing. I do not feel prepared for this. It’s a lot colder than I thought, and by a lot, I’m saying about 20 degrees. Eeekkk.
As usual way to do the research I suppose. I swear the weather reports averaged warmer, but there you have it.
Most people go in nice vacations, I lug my life on my back into the unknown.
I forgot how scary this was. All in your own trying to make it through. In the cold with half hazardly arranged cold weather gear.
As we make our way to the trailhead, there certainly is no going back. I’m sweating but chilled to the bone.
I’m out here to be better, spend time with Indy, and explore this earth.
And hopefully learn to make a freakin fire for once.
