50 miles SHT ✔️
Day four
It has been cold. First night I yes freezing in my hammock wondering wtf I was doing. I barely made this spot by a beaver pond work, tied off to saplings that bucked in the 20 mph gusting wind. Woke to snow in the early morning. Stumbled my way up the muddy trail. Had a beautiful day #2, gave me some hope, but the nights are just so cold. Was grateful to escape the drizzly cold rain today. Hoping to make 80 miles in 5 more days. My nose won’t seem to ever be unstuffed, and my right eye is forever blurry. I’m trying to stay hydrated, but it’s hard when the water is always so cold. I think my scarf blew away, and my feet are starting to blister. But the scenery is so gorgeous, it’s unreal. So, hoping for the best the next week. And for a phone that doesn’t die. All the things.
