Sunday night, Blackrock Hut Shenandoahs
I don’t think I’ll ever remember the name of this hut, only that it is very crowded, almost the most amount of people I have seen at a shelter yet. More SOBOs here, almost over 10 of us it seems. I’m in my hammock annoyed with myself for setting the head too high. I need my other tarp this is getting silly.
Fingers crossed it doesn’t rain, and bears don’t come to clean up my ramen noodle spill.
First night back since 2 magical nights in this organic beef farm. The nicest people had the most beautiful house with tons of land and fed us so much food and drink…. just amazing. I had the realization that that kind of setting is way better to me than tropical island, eastern world place. Give me a farm any day. Much happier there.
So many people chattering away, at least is may deter the bears. Hit 1300 miles today!
